Zenify Investments is a buyer-focused M&A advisory firm specialising in acquisitions for SMEs and lower mid-market businesses. We help business owners, operators, and investors identify, assess, negotiate, and execute acquisitions with the discipline of an investor - not the mindset of a broker.


At Zenify, acquisitions are not treated as transactions to push through. They are major capital allocation decisions that can shape the future of a business for years. That is why our approach is grounded in independent thinking, rigorous analysis, commercial pragmatism, and long-term value creation for buyers.

How It All Started

Where It Began

Zenify’s Targeted Acquisition Program did not begin as a packaged advisory product. It emerged through years of working closely with buyers inside real acquisition processes — identifying targets, approaching owners, assessing businesses, negotiating deals, and managing transactions through to completion.

A Process That Felt Different

Over time, clients began noticing that the work felt different from what they had experienced elsewhere in the market. The process was more analytical. More commercially grounded. Less transactional. More involved. More honest.

Built on a Client’s Words

One client eventually documented and articulated what differentiated the process from other advisers they had worked with before. That language became part of the foundation of Zenify’s Targeted Acquisition Program we intentionally kept much of their interpretation and wording because it reflected something important about how Zenify thinks.

We are not focused on sounding impressive or creating a polished external facade. We care about what helps buyers make better decisions and execute acquisitions properly. That philosophy continues to shape how Zenify operates today.

Built through investing, advisory, sales, and execution across three countries.

Celine Nguyen brings more than 20 years of experience across investment management, portfolio management, business development, technology, and buy-side M&A advisory across Vietnam, Singapore, and Australia.

Her career began in frontier market investing in Vietnam - first at Indochina Land, then at Dragon Capital, one of Southeast Asia’s largest frontier market fund managers, and later at Duxton Asset Management in Singapore, where she was promoted to portfolio manager within six months of joining.

Working in frontier markets developed a discipline of independent thinking, rigorous analysis, and learning not to take information at face value - skills that later became foundational to her advisory approach. In 2012, she relocated to Australia and moved into sales and business development roles at City Index and later Google. At City Index, despite having no prior sales background, she consistently achieved approximately 15 new client accounts per month through an education-first approach focused on investment knowledge and risk awareness rather than sales pressure. At Google, she gained firsthand exposure to how world-class organisations scale systems, technology, people, and operations globally. In 2015, she joined Greenwich Capital Partners and spent seven years leading healthcare M&A advisory, advising healthcare organisations on acquisitions and strategic growth initiatives. Alongside advisory work, she also built the firm’s lead generation, target origination, and client conversion infrastructure - systems that continued operating long after her departure. In 2022, she founded Zenify from scratch, without external capital or partners. ​ Zenify reflects the accumulation of those experiences: investment discipline, commercial pragmatism, operational thinking, and a belief that buyers deserve advice grounded in independent judgment rather than transaction momentum.

Team

Zenify is a small, senior team. Every mandate is led by an experienced principal, supported by rigorous analysis, and backed by specialist expertise where the transaction demands it.

Celine Nguyen, CFA

With more than 20 years of experience across investment management, portfolio management, business development, technology, and buy-side M&A advisory across Vietnam, Singapore, and Australia, she brings a combination of investment discipline, commercial judgment, and transaction execution experience that is rare in the SME acquisition market.

Her role spans acquisition strategy, target assessment, commercial analysis, negotiation, transaction management, and overall client advisory.

Harry Joils

Harry supports Zenify’s work across target analysis, financial modelling, and mandate research. His work supports the disciplined evaluation of target quality, risk, and transaction dynamics throughout the acquisition process.

Harry holds a Bachelor of Laws and Commerce (Finance) from the University of Sydney and brings a background in restructuring, insolvency, and financial analysis.

Martin supports Zenify’s clients on post-close integration and execution.
 
He brings deep experience in strategy execution, integration programs, and PMO leadership - helping management teams translate acquisitions into operational outcomes.

Specialist Network

Depending on the transaction, Zenify also works alongside a network of specialist advisers including lawyers, accountants, tax advisers, and other transaction professionals.
This allows clients to access broader expertise when required while keeping Zenify focused on its core role: independent buy-side advisory and investment judgment.
